“I was very pleased with Randy's service. We have been trying, and failing, to resolve an issue for about 4 years. As with previous service visits I explained the warranty situation, previous experiences and efforts to resolve the issue of the unit locking into continuously running the fan from time-to-time. I explained that a year ago I personally replaced the thermostat in an effort to correct this without success.

Randy thoroughly checked the wiring and hookup in the thermostat. A previous tech (another company) had concluded that changing a board outside would solve the problem and quoted well over $600 for the repair. Then, we discovered that this company would not apply my expended warranty because another company had bought them out. I now know that was not the solution.

Randy tested, but did not indict the outside unit, and went into the attic to check the control board. He found an unconnected wire that would explain the bad behaviors. He connected it and verified the expected operation. The invoice was $212. I had paid other companies 2-3 times that amount twice and almost three times with no good results.

“I called Kinder because I had a leak coming from a compressor replacement done a few years prior (by an employee no longer there). Kinder immediately sent someone out to take a look and confirm that was where the leaked was coming from. I was just looking for the problem to be solved and maybe a discount around the repair but they went a step further. They sent out David who was very nice and went above and beyond answering my questions and explaining things. Not only did he fix the leak caused by the compressor repair, he also confirmed no other leaks, removed all old refrigerant that could have been contaminated, and replaced with new refrigerant. All covered by Kinder and I didn’t have to pay a thing. Kinder stands by their work and if a mistake is ever made (nobody is perfect) I have no doubt they will always do whatever it takes to make it right. From now on Kinder will be my go to servicer as long as I live in there service area.”

“Very pleased. Was able to fit us in the same day we called. Did not hesitate to do warranty work. Filled unit with freon so we stayed cool while waiting on parts. Was able to fix unit in 1 day. We additionally purchased a service contract and an air ionizer unit with them because we were so pleased with the response and service. We had initially called 5 different companies but after spending 2 weeks in the heat getting poor responses because our unit was still under warranty. I called another HVAC company for a quote.. i never received the quote & I needed an answer for an electrician on the scope of service I needed done & that company never called me back. I have worked in construction and never seen such a quick response courteous professional and on-time company as this it was a joy to have them service and repair my air-conditioner I will definitely refer them to all my friends and they have a client for life thank you very much.

I’ve tested Mr Kinder’s work for 6 months now, I wanted to be able to give a fair and honest review. Our home was built in the 70’s and it had a very old heat and air system, where return air wasn’t in the best place and it was so loud that it kept us awake at night. Mr Kinder gave us a quick and effective solution without trying to sell us anything and even helping us consider possible solutions to save money; unlike other companies that came to give us their bids. Honesty and having the customers best interest in mind is a trait we don’t see much these days. I can say that now we sleep very well and our utility bill is very efficient.

Shortly after we bought our fixer-up home, we called another HVAC company to give the furnace a check up. They put a red sticker on it, said we couldn’t use it, and they wanted $18,000 to replace it and the duct work! That started our search. We had maybe 10 different companies come and check our system. They all insisted it had to be replaced. The lowest price we found was from Kinder Air for $8K. Although Don advised that we replace it, when he understood that we simply didn’t have the money to do so, he explained that he could replace the heat exchanger, since the A/C side of the package unit worked well. Their final price to repair the system was $2100, a fraction of what all the others insisted was the only option. They also installed new duct work for us. Their price for the duct work was comparable to the others but slightly lower. The final result is that our old home is now so comfortable! They did a great job. So professional, courteous, thorough, kind and understanding. If everyone did business like Don Kinder, the world would be a great place!
