“Woke up to a furnace that wasn't working, not only on a Sunday; but Super Bowl Sunday with bad weather in the forecast. I called many heating and air companies that advertised 24/7 service and everyone of them weren't able to help us out until Monday or later. Called Kinder and they had a technician at my door within an hour. Her name is Dakota and she had us up and running in about 15 minutes. Very professional, and extremely friendly. “I was very pleased with Randy's service. We have been trying, and failing, to resolve an issue for about 4 years. As with previous service visits I explained the warranty situation, previous experiences and efforts to resolve the issue of the unit locking into continuously running the fan from time-to-time. I explained that a year ago I personally replaced the thermostat in an effort to correct this without success.

Randy thoroughly checked the wiring and hookup in the thermostat. A previous tech (another company) had concluded that changing a board outside would solve the problem and quoted well over $600 for the repair. Then, we discovered that this company would not apply my expended warranty because another company had bought them out. I now know that was not the solution.

Randy tested, but did not indict the outside unit, and went into the attic to check the control board. He found an unconnected wire that would explain the bad behaviors. He connected it and verified the expected operation. The invoice was $212. I had paid other companies 2-3 times that amount twice and almost three times with no good results.
